We exist to educate and prepare people to walk in solidarity with immigrants in our communities by creating a network of faith communities, organizations, and agencies.
Our goal is to equip faith communities to become places of sanctuary and to offer people opportunities to actively walk, with people, in solidarity through direct action.

"Invisible Hands of Migrant Labor"
An Experiential Learning Opportunity with East Central Ohio Sanctuary Network and Immigrant Worker Project

Sept 20-22, 2019

The Invisible Hands of Migrant Labor is an experiential learning program in which participants will be invited to visit various labor sites in NE Ohio that rely on migrant labor. Participants will meet with and learn from workers and advocates for labor rights and safety and immigration justice. This is a unique opportunity that allows us to learn in community, and process together what we hear and experience during the retreat.

The application process will close August 15th, 2019.

The cost of this program is $150 per person. This fee includes your lodging, transportation and meals. Please make checks payable to Immigrant Worker Project, and indicate “ECOSN retreat” in the memo.

Subsidies are available upon request for those who would like to participate but cannot afford the $150 fee. Please contact our coordinator, Kelsey Hilty Troyer, at admin@ecosn.net

Applications will be reviewed and approved on a rolling basis, and will be approved no later than August 16th.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at admin@ecosn.net
